How to make delicious marshmallow krispie brownies

As the holiday season begins to sneak up, the parties are just beginning. From Thanksgiving feasts to Yankee-swap Christmas parties, it’s no wonder why this isn’t always a season of peace and joy for everyone. But no need to worry, this quick and easy brownie recipe can save your holly jolly spirit when you are in a hurry!

These brownies are the ultimate way to impress your family and friends with your baking skills, when in actuality they are super quick and easy. Follow these simple steps bellow and before you know it you will have some of the best tasting treats around.

Makes about 2 dozen

INGREDIENTS:

1 package (19.8 oz) Brownie Mix (Ghirardelli is prefered)  

1 package ( 10.5 oz) Mini Marshmallows

1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips (almost one bag)

1 cup peanut butter(Jif original is prefered)

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1 ½ cups Rice krispie cereal

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9×13 inch pan

Prepare and bake brownies based on directions on box.

Remove brownies from oven and sprinkle the marshmallows on while they are still hot.

Then place back in the oven and bake for an additional 3 minutes.

You will need to fill a pan with marshmallows(LILLIAN MOHR/Ethic News)

Place the chocolate chips, the peanut butter, and the butter in a medium saucepan.

Cook over low heat setting continuously until the chocolate chips are completely melted.

Add the Rice krispie cereal and mix well.

Spread the Rice Krispie mixture evenly over the marshmallow layer.

 

Refrigerate for about an hour or so until the brownies are fully cooled.

 

Then enjoy!
