Brief: La Quinta sweeps Wildcats girls basketball

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, all three levels of the Redlands East Valley girls basketball teams suffered losses to La Quinta High School.   

The score for the freshman team was 58-29, the score for the junior varsity team was 52-10, and the score for the Varsity team was 54-42.

Despite the losses, the Wildcats are putting their focus on improving. “I want to get better, and better at my footwork,” said freshman Mariah Mora. 

Freshman and Varsity’s next game will be on Thursday, Dec. 6, against Chaparral at Chaparral High School in Temecula. JV’s next game will be on Wednesday, Dec. 5, against Colton at Colton High School.
