On March 2 & 3, Citrus Valley high school visited Cram elementary, Highland Grove elementary and Arroyo Verde elementary school. Redlands East Valley high school also visited Mariposa elementary ,Judson and Brown elementary, Mentone elementary and Victoria elementary. Primarily student athletes were the participants from the high schools. Lauren Loeb, a cheerleader at Citrus Valley said what she enjoyed most was “being able to make the kids happy and answering some of their questions about what citrus is like.” Sydney Shreve a Redlands East Valley cheerleader stated that she enjoyed “how excited the kids were for us to read to them…” Both schools participated by giving back to the community and taking their time to read to the students with books written by Dr. Seuss.
