CVHS Students Save Lives Through Blood Drive

On Sept. 1 Citrus Valley High School hosted a blood drive opened to the students and the community. They donated approximately 50 units of blood, which will be going to save five lives. When the donors were questioned, a girl named Sydney Hoon stated, “I donate blood to help people who need it more than I do.” Also,  student athlete Jordan Schaefer said that he “donate[s] donate blood to save 10 babies and to participate in the S in C.L.A.S.S [Service] and to also to bleed black and gold.”  Not only is CV thankful for the participants, but the CV’s ASB  and Livestream are also grateful. The next blood drive at Citrus Valley will be on November 9.
