The immense amount of things to be thankful for is triumphant. As human beings we are all unique and heterogeneous in our own individual ways, allowing for the enhancement of gratitude and admiration. Most human beings have something or someone to be grateful for in this world, and the beauty of that is remarkable. Having something or someone to be thankful for really provides and enhances a miraculous environment for us as human beings.
Recognizing this is the first step to illuminating the amazing qualities we have as human beings.
Recognizing the people and the things that are there for us is in our lives is always important. As Thanksgiving approaches many of us automatically think about all the food we will eat, and the nice week off that we will have because of the holiday. We tend to forget about the true meaning of gratitude. There are so many things to be thankful for in this world whether it be a roof over your head, food to eat, a support system from your family and friends, or even the opportunity to go to school everyday, the list is infinite.
I’d have to say I am tremendously thankful for my family and friends that are there to provide me with support along the way, as well as the incredible opportunity to further my education each and everyday. The ability to be able to wake up everyday and go to school, is a beautiful thing that I was granted as we need to recognize that not everyone in the world gets an education. There are people of our age in different areas of the world that fight everyday for the education we receive each and everyday, yet it is still so easily just handed to us.
We all tend to think of all the possible things that go wrong in our lives. The stress, the pressures, the negatives. It’s apart of human nature to do so, but all it takes is some positivity to get rid of the negative vibes within our lives. I’ve recently challenged myself to let go of my negative energy, and replace it with positivity. This isn’t always the easiest thing in the world to do, but it does allow for gratitude to shine within me as a person. Whenever I see myself start to drag myself down, I begin to take a moment to breathe, and think about all the amazing things in my life that I am grateful for.
Taking the time of day to think of the things we are grateful for is amazing, it truly enhances the happiness within our world. Today I challenge you, whoever is reading this to make a small change in their mind set. Try to focus on your positivity, your happiness, and your well being. Focusing on these things may just help you enhance the things you are grateful for in your life. Instead of focusing on these things during just thanksgiving, I strongly urge myself and anyone else reading this to practice this every day. Even just a slight change in your mindset can really cause for a great change in the environment in which you live in, enhancing the things to be grateful for in this world.
