On Nov. 19, 2015 Redlands East Valley’s Associated Student Body is celebrating Thanksgiving.
Each ASB student invites a staff member or two to join them during intervention and lunch for a Thanksgiving meal. Students bring foods like turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, and pumpkin pie for the staff to enjoy.
The students also make scrolls to thank the staff. These are made out of paper bags, written on with kind words, and decorated with colorful designs. These scrolls are presented to the staff at the luncheon.
This tradition has been going on for several years and ASB hopes to keep the Thanksgiving spirit alive. Just a reminder: stay thankful and keep giving!
