Exploring an Easy Egyptian Recipe

​What most people don’t know about me is that I am Egyptian and I moved to United States when I was 15 years old. I feel it is unfortunate that our traditional cuisine is not that popular in the world, because we have a lot of delicious recipes that I am so eager to share with you. This recipe is my mom’s, and she makes it every week because it is delicious, easy, and you never get bored with it. 

Nutty Egyptian Rice Style

What you need:
-Pepper and salt

-For each 2 cups of rice, we will meed two spoons of sugar
-Then caramelize the sugar on a low heat 
-When the sugar is dark enough, add the broth
-Wait till it is boil and then add the rice till its cooked
-Next add all your favorite nuts 🙂

**If you like, you can add small pieces of chicken or beef with some butter. In Egypt, people prefer liver – whatever makes your stomach happy!
